New and Interesting Social Web Services

Recently, I was doing a lot of research and internet marketing stuff.
On my way I found few interesting social media sites. One resembles Facebook (look&feel mainly) very much but it has major difference - you can market your businesses via links, business offers and posts. It is called BreezyBuzz. You also can create pages and groups for that purpose. So far in what I said only groups require you to upgrade to Gold member.
You will be able to run blog as well. Anyway, this is a brand new social networking site, free as well as payable. Another difference to Facebook is that you may choose to go Gold and as they offer referral fees earn some cash. So, your monthly fees can be paid off. Isn't it good? Well, see it your self, join, run for a while and then decide. Just follow the link HERE.

Next one is IM Faceplate. This is an online, also brand new profile branding page with business promotion options. You can use it as a personal or business related marketing tool helping you create/extend you brand awareness. It connects with other social media and your contacts easily as well as allows for business marketing. It also has pro capabilities, meaning that you can upgrade and get more useful options. Currently, it is only $10p/m and what seems to be obvious now, it has referral program too.

This can bring you extra cash twofold. One, from referrals and second form Google Adsense. The upgraded version gives you 100% of your own ads while free version only 50%, so you share the space with Logiscape Technologies (the owner of the service).

Again, choice is yours to use it or not but I think it is worth trying as it can be another traffic generator to you sites and branding tool.

The last one I would like to share with you is Sweeva. This is another traffic-exchange service where you can pay for impressions or earn points while viewing other's people sites. You can easily contact with fellow Sweevers and make friends too.

Why do I choose Sweeva? It adds backlinks, increase traffic and looks good too. It is very easy to use, manage and configure. Up to some extend you can compare it to Stumbleupon in how you view pages but here you can comment and rank them. The only think is you cannot choose categories you would like to view but this is due to different goals.

Anyone of the above can improve your presence online and help market your business without spending lots of money on advertising but still drive decent traffic. If you do it in combinations with other seasoned and more popular services than your overall results will be much better.

On the other hand they are brand new services with very fast membership increase. You should at least pay some attention to their speedy growth!

  1. Hi Tomasz,

Great post, especially since social networking seems to be the way forward at the moment.

I belong to all the sites you mention here. I really like IM Faceplate and Sweeva but I can't get into BreezyBuzz. This is probably because I spend a lot of time at Swom and there are only so many hours in a day.

Your post about traffic exchanges is great too. I agree with everything you say about it being possible to spend a lot of time and effort on them for very little return. I tend not to bother with them so much now in favour of blogging and text ad exchanges.

    Good luck with your business

  2. Hi Penny,

Thank you. It is as you said all involving and time consuming so I understand that you may not have time for all :)
I have no idea how I can find time for most of them and few suffer lack of my attention such as this blog.
