But this is what most people do, doesn't it? Thinking and talking about.

I thought about visiting places in the UK, those I never been to, such as Scotland, Wales, Peak and Lake districts, Ireland and Cornwall.

During those many years I went to very few places but actually I was taken there on the coach or train. All was pre-arranged and organised.

But this year, things began to change. It was one of my desires to have and ride a motorcycle, so finally I made my mind and went for CBT in February. Next, I got myself an used Honda CB125F with just over 5400 miles on the clock and began riding.

In the making

The CBT is very short and does not really teaches you how to control the motorcycle (how to safely and effectively use clutch, throttle and breaks), how to ride it in traffic, how to deal with hazards, how to ride through corners or what the counter steering is and when / how to use it. So I spent months on the empty car park, learning slow speed manoeuvres, I rode in town and went for short trips out of town. I took longer trips and an additional training. All in all it was skills and confidence building exercise and riding became a thing I love to do.

Then, one day it occurred to me, that it is a holiday time, weather is good and Cornwall is not too far away. The bike was to me the best way to get there and ride around it, so I spent couple of weeks planning and booking places to stay and visit.

From my initial calculations, it was apparent that it will be 900 miles and about 33 riding hours. Interestingly, I used Google maps for all my route planning and for some reason the timing on the map and in the actual travel was very accurate. How? I have no idea. If you look at it, it came to an average speed of 27 m/h on the map. I was riding between 20 and 55 m/h and the actual time on the road (according to Google in my timeline) was roughly 37h. Plus, almost the same time I spent walking to and around places I planed to visit.

The travel

On 2nd August I went on my first leg to Portland, something about 150 miles and it took me under 5 hours. But bear in mind, I did not use any motorways and only smaller A and B roads. I had few stops and ferry crossing in Pool.

After arrival and unloading my bike, I had enough time to go around and visit the furthest point where the Portland Bill Lighthouse is, see the Pulpit Rock and have some late lunch in the Lobster Pot bar. After my return to the hotel, I went to see the famous Chesil (or Chiswell?) pebble beach. It stretches over 17 miles between Portland and Burton Bradstock or it could be even West Way) and looks like man-made feature but apparently it was created by the sea.

I stayed one night in the small hotel The Aqua, practically at that time the only open place with breakfast and being reasonably priced.

My next leg was to Slapton, a small village in the Kingsbridge area, just under 100 miles.

tbc ...
Tomaszhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00005620188713312367noreply@blogger.com0London, UK51.5073509 -0.127758323.197117063821153 -35.284008299999996 79.817584736178844 35.028491700000004tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2427067756097682492.post-2275916630169747602013-03-18T19:15:00.001+00:002013-03-18T19:20:49.977+00:00Feelling incomplete - Are you?Not so long time ago I realized that whatever I was doing was going nowhere.

I mean, all my efforts and hard work was disappearing and showing no results. I was working more and more and I started loosing focus by taking on board new ideas I considered helpful. Then it came to me why it was going that way: I lost my passion, I lost my interest, I lost myself.

And not only this. From almost every direction I heard - plan, set goals and focus on them but how could I do such simple thing when I lost ability to have goals. Yes, I lost it. It came to my realisation that ...I don't know what I want any more. It is not because I have/had all what you can imagine and World can deliver. No, as I can remember there was always something I wanted and this was pushing me forward but not this time. I thought I want this and that but something has changed because otherwise I would go and do something to get that. But no, I was doing everything to do nothing, doing unimportant things or simply procrastinating. The questions such as - do I really want this?, do I really need this? what I REALLY want? started popping out.
Practically, I was making sure I will not get that!

Than, I've heard that this is OK. This is OK to not know now. Don't worry, this is because all is changing. The new energy is taking over. New, stronger, better. Fine, what else?
Some other said, and this feels right, you can't live tomorrow or yesterday, so why do you worry about that and try to revive death yesterday? The only place where you can live is NOW, here, so BE. Be here and now. Than there was another and another person saying the same. Fine, OK, I hear you.

I was blaming circumstances, others and then myself, when I realised it was all my fault I was looking for forgiveness. But one day I heard some other person saying - there is no need to forgive anyone anything because there is nothing to be forgiven. Whenever you do so you admit that someone did something to you but the only person who can harm is YOU, only you and now, in your grace, you forgive him/her. Feeling better? Sure, but this is you who ask them to be actors in your life theatre. They plaid their roles so well, so natural without even knowing they did it. They were on your scene on your request, so why would you like to forgive them anything? The only reasonable thing to do is to say Thank You for job well done.

And than I heard - you are complete. All things you do to have more and better will go anyway and will not satisfy you at the end of the day. You will still want more and more until you realize that you already have ALL what you need within, you are complete. You have it all to be happy.

So I decided to save on my next trip and book my Vacation Package With Fare Buzz!
You can do the same too :) Happy holiday!Tomaszhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00005620188713312367noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2427067756097682492.post-84728267733628630382012-04-08T22:43:00.000+01:002012-04-08T22:43:01.005+01:00Holiday camps for people and horsesMany people love the idea of combining their passion for horses with their vacation, and there are many different places around the world where you can stay and ride at the same time.

The alternative is to stay in your own country and take your own horse on holiday. In the UK, for example, there are plenty of different places that will accept guests and their horses, rather than expecting you to use their horses.

The Lake District is a perfect place to take horses as there are so many quiet lanes, open fields and bridleways to follow. Many people camp in the Lake District as there are so many camp-sites there and the countryside is so breathtakingly beautiful. Before you head off on a camping holiday, it’s best to go and check out the different equipment options in a shop that has a good range of tents for sale. If you go at the right time, you might get an end of season bargain – you can always store it away for next year.

Apart from camping gear, you’ll also need decent clothing for outdoors activities. Women and men's waterproof jackets are essential items as you never know what will happen with the British weather!

For those who like to really experience the great outdoors, you can also combine camping with riding. It’s a great kind of holiday for young people to go on without their parents – they will be safe and well looked after, yet being away from Mum and Dad gives them a sense of independence and freedom. It’s also a perfect solution if your child is horse-mad but you aren’t!

Most teenage horse camps run for about five nights, and include a couple of days at base and an overnight camping trip on horseback. Not only do the participants learn about the reality of taking care of a horse, but they’ll also get to meet new people and experience something totally different from their day to day life.Tomaszhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00005620188713312367noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2427067756097682492.post-59325703729705882062011-11-08T23:54:00.000+00:002011-11-08T23:54:47.142+00:00Travel IndustryDid you know that the travel industry is one of the biggest in the world?

It may sound not so but it provides "9% of global GDP and 260 million jobs" according to World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) and it continually grows. I think this is a lot.

All this is because we love to travel. The World is so beautiful and it offers almost endless discoveries. I mean, even if you visit the same location and if you are just a bit of an explorer than always you find some new views, places and things you would not expect to be there.

I'm guessing now, that is because of the size of the industry and the great number of competitors on the market we all can benefit from fantastic deals on Flights, hotels or holiday packages. The only issue is you have to do your research or have access to the good source(s) of information.

The Internet comes with the aid and when you use the latest mobile device it is even easier. You just type, let say: 'cheap flights'and almost instantly links to the websites offering deals are displayed. Now, when a deal IS a good deal? Again you need do your research, tediously crawling page after page and compare the prices or you can go to those which do it for you. But there are hundreds of comparison pages too!

To resolve this, I stick to one simple rule: 'bookmark pages I used which provided good service and prices and stick to them!'
My winners are: CheapFlights and Expedia.

I have never had any issues, booking was smooth and fast. All details I needed where in place. So, next time when you will get to your computer ready to book your holiday give them a go. Oh, you may also try FareBuzz for good deals too. You can save up to 60% on Coach and up to 70% on Business Class Flights with them Now!
These are clouds observed above Lewisham, Greenwich and Blackheath. Few of them are quite interesting for their shape, such as resembling UFO ship or a shark.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Clouds form fantastic shapes and figures and with a bit of imagination you can see many figures.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; font-size: large;">On few pictures you can see something resembling (or maybe not?) two ghosts crossing the rainbow; a big bright light in the middle of the storm cloud (just reflection of the sun light from the opposite side) looking like ... I'm living this to you. Take your time and enjoy. :)

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; font-size: large;">Some pictures were taken with old 2mg pix mobile phone camera because I didn't have anything else at hand but coming storm clouds or sunset were so amazing I had to capture the moment regardless! I'm grateful for such invention.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; font-size: large;">It was also first time I was able to observe a fairly big storm cloud approaching, passing by at distance and leaving without a drop of rain where I was, see a rainbow and strange shapes. And all this with sun setting down, shining from behind for most of the time! It was spectacular, visual experience, so I hope that you will see/feel it too.Tomaszhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00005620188713312367noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2427067756097682492.post-60330328205292077812011-06-06T02:32:00.000+01:002011-06-06T02:32:11.518+01:00Take Life in Your own HandsIt could be so much easier not to be self-concious, have no self-awareness, taking no responsibility for self-owned life.

Wake up in the morning, go to simple work, have something to eat in the meantime. Go to pub, have a beer, socialize> Comeback home, watch the telly, go to sleep and start over next day.

Sounds familiar? Why always I wanted something lot more sophisticated, why did I study at the uni, why did I learn so much, why did I do so many things?

Now, I feel it is my duty to implement seriously what I said at the beginning. Starting from taking full responsibility for my own life, my actions and my future. Full, I mean becoming a creator of every second of my life knowing that whatever will happen, at any moment I will be the only one to blame because I AM responsible for my creation! This is ... it comes to mind first to say - difficult, but ... this can be done, this is easy (is better to say).

Being positive, grateful, happy and smile most of the time; love people, forgive and see good in them this is a task. See peace on Earth, free of wars, soldiers, guns, violence, just peace and love, cooperation and support - it's a project.

Utopia? NO, we are one, we have one Earth, one Universe, we are the same one energy. We must understand this. We must connect with our ancestors to know what comes next. When it happens all will be clear.

The speed we learn these days is so great, we acquire knowledge in one month what it would take 1000 years 6000 years ago. We can, we still have a chance to become truly powerful, learn unconditional love, preserve the Earth and build new quality of life for everyone.
WE Can!

Many of you are probably just like me when I first started out in real estate. Attending meetings with recent graduates of the “how to get rich” weekend seminars. Working with real estate agents that are not investor savvy. Endlessly driving by and walking properties that might offer the best deal.

Most of the investors who attended the meetings were newbies who were purchasing single family homes and renting them out. I wondered whether this was a better strategy than buying multi-unit buildings.

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">We talked about responsibilities for our actions and learning from mistakes or I would rather say failures. This is what we fear most to do, not talking about but making one and if it happens many would be willing to 'kill' to hide it or blame some else to escape responsibility.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">We are told that making mistakes is wrong, bad and it never ever should take place and also we were punished for making them. For such reasons and pressure most will never admit one. Fear, is our the biggest enemy.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Failure, like few wise people say is part of learning and success, so unavoidable. Nowadays, you can find great variety of books and lecturers related to positive thinking, law of attraction, taking responsibility of life in own hands and so on. And indeed, one can read and listen and read and never change; never find the right words which get to the point of once's mind to trigger understanding that for all our failures only we are responsible. This is not someone or something else, this is us who make mistakes and we fail. If we get to this point that we only are responsible for our failures, than it opens the door for us to learning from them. But how to get there?
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">How to understand that Mr. Trouble who provided wrong solution is OUR fault? How it is possible that Mr. Employee showed his incompetence is OUR failure? It sounds ridiculous, isn't it? But closer examination of all our thoughts, actions and expectations prove this is true.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">If we gave correct and clear information Mr. Trouble could deliver what we wanted and Mr. Employee if we put enough effort to train him properly would do the good job. This can go on and on.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Coming back to the conversation with my wife. While we were discussing those she said: This is similar to when you drive a car, at some point you get to the road crossing and you have green light but a the same time you spotted a lorry closing a bit too fast from the right side. So instead of speeding through you slow down and ... the lorry whizzed inches in front of your bumper. It was the case of a second you have avoided a serious crash just by being reasonable and using limited trust to other road users. The other driver could be drunk or tired or not paying enough attention but it is our responsibility to be alerted and have limited trust, just take a bit care of our own safety. At least, this is us who drove our car.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">This is the same in every day situation because life has its own roads full of drunk or distracted drivers and we are driving on those roads. This is why a dose of limited trust can help save us from getting unnecessary bruises or even avoid serious damages.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Of course, knowing what we want (having goals, dreams), being focused and working towards their achievement as well as determination, perseverance, believe and trust in that we can are all undeniable for success. However, I would like to stress again the need for limited trust to 'other drivers'. Many disappointments and frustrations could be omitted by using this.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">For me, this nice comparison let me realized my failures which I didn't see that way. Now, I can take another look at them, analyze, draw conclusions, learn and move on.

And is useful and interesting and beneficial.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">It is difficult not to agree or deny it. Some of us tend to meet online only but fortunately, most uses online media to spread information and meet-up in the real places.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Do you think people are meeting each other more often nowadays than it was before the Internet? Do we meet more people than before? I have no idea but some of you may know the answers.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">One thing is certain, meeting other people is paramount if you want your business rolling. At the beginning of some you may do well without but when you want to grow you need more contacts, more knowledge and bigger crew. Of course, you will need more customers too.

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Networking can bring you both, so remember those few rules:

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; font-size: 18px;">

Decide what your goal is, what do you want to achieve and stick to it.

Have lots of business cards with you.

Speak with as many NEW people as you can.

Avoid being sucked into endless conversations with those who you have lot of fun. Remember your goal.

Collect business cards and make notes on them (who, what, where met and how he/she can be helpful)

After the event put all contacts you consider useful into a spreadsheet with as many information as you see necessary. This will help you later to recall details.

Follow-up in 3-5 days. Call or email all your contacts, so they will still remember you and repeat this at least once a month thereafter.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; font-size: 18px;">You can make friends or customers or business partners in many cases without you even knowing when it happened.Tomaszhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00005620188713312367noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2427067756097682492.post-44964248325630218372010-08-10T16:22:00.003+01:002010-08-10T17:08:18.278+01:00Wealth From PropertyBook Your Tickets NOW - WealthFromPropertyTomaszhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00005620188713312367noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2427067756097682492.post-82960748189674617012010-08-10T16:21:00.003+01:002010-08-10T17:10:18.076+01:00Chris Howard back in LondonThe Wealth Propultion with Chris Howard this October in London http://dld.bz/propulsionTomaszhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00005620188713312367noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2427067756097682492.post-70492085677544262982010-07-15T14:17:00.001+01:002010-07-15T14:17:15.442+01:00Get Your New Face(plate) and Brand Your Self with IM Faceplate http://dld.bz/IM_ProfTomaszhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00005620188713312367noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2427067756097682492.post-80096933722231190352010-07-02T16:21:00.003+01:002010-09-01T21:22:23.269+01:00New and Interesting Social Web Services
Recently, I was doing a lot of research and internet marketing stuff.
On my way I found few interesting social media sites. One resembles Facebook (look&feel mainly) very much but it has major difference - you can market your businesses via links, business offers and posts. It is called BreezyBuzz. You also can create pages and groups for that purpose. So far in what I said only groups require you to upgrade to Gold member.
You will be able to run blog as well. Anyway, this is a brand new social networking site, free as well as payable. Another difference to Facebook is that you may choose to go Gold and as they offer referral fees earn some cash. So, your monthly fees can be paid off. Isn't it good? Well, see it your self, join, run for a while and then decide. Just follow the link HERE.

Next one is IM Faceplate. This is an online, also brand new profile branding page with business promotion options. You can use it as a personal or business related marketing tool helping you create/extend you brand awareness. It connects with other social media and your contacts easily as well as allows for business marketing. It also has pro capabilities, meaning that you can upgrade and get more useful options. Currently, it is only $10p/m and what seems to be obvious now, it has referral program too.

This can bring you extra cash twofold. One, from referrals and second form Google Adsense. The upgraded version gives you 100% of your own ads while free version only 50%, so you share the space with Logiscape Technologies (the owner of the service).

Again, choice is yours to use it or not but I think it is worth trying as it can be another traffic generator to you sites and branding tool.

The last one I would like to share with you is Sweeva. This is another traffic-exchange service where you can pay for impressions or earn points while viewing other's people sites. You can easily contact with fellow Sweevers and make friends too.

Why do I choose Sweeva? It adds backlinks, increase traffic and looks good too. It is very easy to use, manage and configure. Up to some extend you can compare it to Stumbleupon in how you view pages but here you can comment and rank them. The only think is you cannot choose categories you would like to view but this is due to different goals.

Anyone of the above can improve your presence online and help market your business without spending lots of money on advertising but still drive decent traffic. If you do it in combinations with other seasoned and more popular services than your overall results will be much better.

On the other hand they are brand new services with very fast membership increase. You should at least pay some attention to their speedy growth!
Lots of them are genuine crap with no meaning, use or they are not even interesting but at the same time hundred others come with real, good value.

This happens because people are different and this is the best thing of all. Those differences make the NET and the World interesting. This forces individuals to be creative inventors. designers, directors and to be unique. Without this, we would live boring, gray and square lives.

"Money Is King", we know that, but what about IMAGINATION? How would you call this?
Just take the imagination out of creation process and you have ...your gray world.

I'm saying this because I found really amusing making video on XtraNormal. This is one of not too many sites where virtually anyone CAN make a decent marketing video, yet FREE.
You do not have to be pretty or be an actor or even you don't have to use your own voice. Of course, it could work faster and time is money. But remember, this service is FREE of charge, so far. You should not complain.

I'm not George Lukas or Steven Spielberg but I think that my little creation is good enough for the role it plays. Their previous answer is bellow:

Unfortunately upon reviewing your blog we are unable to grant it access to the directory.
Your blog was declined for the following reason:

The URL you submitted is not a blog.

From this I couldn't rectify it and resubmit for review. The reason for this is that this ... blog is NOT a blog and has been rejected as such by BlogCatalog.

I did a search to find the answer to the above question (Google knows everything :)) and I found number of answers and explanations, well thousands to be precise. Here is one I think does explanation very well:

"a blog is a type of website that is usually arranged in chronological order from the most recent ‘post’ (or entry) at the top of the main page to the older entries towards the bottom."

and another one

"From “Web log.” A blog is basically a journal that is available on the web. The activity of updating a blog is “blogging” and someone who keeps a blog is a “blogger“."

I found them on Problogger.Net and the full article can be found here.

So, if this is the case than what is wrong with my blog? It is chronological; it has archives; it is updated by me, the owner; it has comments or at least option to leave them. The subject of a blog ... it can be anything. This one is my personal and I write what is on my mind. One post maybe interesting and another not necessarily for all. Maybe updates are not every day but still it is a form of a personal publishing. So WHY it is not a BLOG?

What criteria it has to fulfill to become a BLOG?

What is your opinion?

I will ask those questions to BlogCatalog an will post answers here, whatever they say.

Tomaszhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00005620188713312367noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2427067756097682492.post-44295539335520591312010-02-17T18:15:00.004+00:002010-02-17T18:18:49.470+00:00What is the Impact of Wealth on the Environment?
What I’m going to say may has nothing to do with ecology or environment but … it helps with wealthy living.

Wealthy living may have immense impact on the environment; both positive or negative. Obviously, it will depend on what one will do with its wealth but I choose thinking positively.

OK, the wealthy living can start with FREE gift or with some money spent on product or for education. Here is a product which will give you education, it is FREE and by learning you will invest in yourself. What could be better?

Some, will be skeptical because nothing is for FREE and this true, some other will say it must rubbish because is or FREE. Will the last pay is it wasn’t? Maybe but there is no guarantee. I would agree with the first because the price one will pay is time and effort to do something others will not to be bothered.

At least, if you get something that is FREE and you do not like it you can easily get rid of it without pain, it was FREE anyway or find yourself in the beneficiary position and ahead of others just by gaining useful knowledge. The call is yours.

So, HERE AGAIN is the Educational and FREE product for You to explore and gain.

Hang on!, Wait.
